Joanne Perica is a singer-songwriter and music producer who has worked with some of the top writers and artists in the business, including Michael Bolton, Sera Buras, Toby Gad, Anjulie, and James Bryan.
Joanne was part of the Billboard Charted dance group Harlow and shared the stage with Elton John, Men at Work, Tears for Fears, The Weather Girls, David Foster among many others.
While in college as a music major, she recorded her first demo tape and quickly became a sought after session singer in Toronto.This lead to many jingles and the signing of her first recording contract. Take Off, Harlow's first single, reached #15 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
In the last decade Joanne has produced, developed and written with many artists from the brilliant classical pianist Dalia Lazar and the legendary classic guitarist Liona Boyd to young artists such as Angulie, Natalie Distler, and Sony artist Sera Buras.
Her song Bones, co-written with Thom Crawford, was produced by Sacha Skarbek, (Adele, and Jason Mraz) and is featured in the documentary film For No Good Reason with Johnny Depp. Bones made the Oscar List for 2014. It will be included on the soundtrack along with many notable artists including Jason Mraz, Slash, The All American Rejects & Crystal Castles. The documentary is premiering at the London Film Festival on October 12, 2012.
